SCEN stands as the largest regional collaborative of clean energy and climate change advocates and organizations from twelve Southeastern states. The organization was born from the need for climate and clean energy organizing in the South -realizing that only a strong network of coordinated national, regional, state and local organizations can elevate and transform the way the Southeast produces and uses energy while advancing efforts in environmental justice and equity. The network aims to leverage our collective power to provide our members with leadership development, training, funding and support rapid response mechanisms to environmental threats while building healthy and resilient communities. At present, SCEN has 70+ organization members representing more than 100 leaders in the U.S South.
