Who we are Kashmir, often referred to as ‘Paradise on Earth’, has captivated many with its beauty. Famed for its stunning scenery, hospitality and delicious cuisine, Jammu & Kashmir state is a popular tourist destination. We wanted to create a community where we could share our unique culture and so in January 2017 ‘Being Kashmiri’ was born. Being Kashmiri allows both Kashmiris and travellers to share their experiences and stories of life and travel in Jammu & Kashmir. Our aim is to inspire, evoke curiosity and promote Kashmir through our community’s experience in our home region. Since its conception, Being Kashmiri has gained a firm following and we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our followers and contributors for your continued support.
