‘Not Open Since 2009’, the Wooly behind as a clandestine bar, dynamic events venue and clubhouse in the landmark Woolworth Building. It expanded its footprint over the next few years, first with The Wooly Daily, a coffeeshop in front and after with The Wooly Public, a restaurant and cocktail bar next door, opened in 2017. After its first party back in 2009, The Wooly became a destination for creative events in art, fashion, music, tech and entertainment. Past acts at the Wooly include Lana Del Rey and Nicki Minaj as well as an epic DJ set by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. Clients ranged from H&M to Warby Parker to The New Yorker.
