Instituto Biotrópicos is a a scientific and socio-environmental NGO founded in 2003. Mission to develop research on biodiversity and nature conservation, integrating science, education and sustainable business. Located in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Responsible for the Executive Secretariat of the Mosaic of Protected Areas of Espinhaço: Alto Jequitinhonha-Serra do Cabral, the management of the natural attraction Gruta do Salitre, the coordination of the Conserva Mundi Environmental Education Center (Salas Verdes Network / Ministry of the Environment).
