RCV is an alliance representing the 38 rural Victorian councils, supporting and promoting sustainable, liveable and prosperous rural communities. It represents its members by working to: 1. Heighten awareness and understanding of issues that impact on rural communities. 2. Assist with building the capacity of rural councils to face challenges. 3. Provide leadership on local governance. RCV is managed by an Executive Committee comprising 13 local government councillors and CEOs. It has a secretariat team with 2.6 staff.
