The Greater Bangor Convention & Visitors Bureau is a destination marketing organization, which provides event and visitor services for the Greater Bangor Region, including the Bar Harbor Coastal area, the Maine Highlands, Mount Katahdin, Moosehead Lake among many other amazing regions. Our Mission The Greater Bangor Convention & Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization which exists to stimulate economic vitality by promoting the Greater Bangor Region as the preferred destination for meetings, conventions & visitors. Our Vision The Greater Bangor Convention & Visitors Bureau will be the premier public/private partnership dedicated to economic development through marketing the Greater Bangor Region as a destination choice for conferences and tourism.
