One Arizona is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In the wake of SB1070, four immigrant rights organizations came together with the goal of registering 12,000 Latino voters. Shortly afterwards, One Arizona was born. Ten years later, One Arizona is made up of 28 organizations representing diverse communities across Arizona, working side by side to build a culture of civic engagement and democratic participation and registering nearly half a million voters to date. While our foundation addressed Latinx issues, the One Arizona coalition has grown tremendously and works in diverse communities including indigenous, Black, and AANHPI communities. We are completely nonpartisan, focused on improving the lives of all Arizonans, especially people of color and young people, by building a culture of civic participation. By working together, we've created deep and lasting change in the state we call home. In 2020 we focused on the 2020 Census and our Show Up 2020 campaign where we helped 185,000 Arizonans register to vote, making it the largest non-partisan voter registration effort in Arizona.
