The Bannister Foundation was founded by Justin L. Bannister, a UGA graduate and alum. From an early age, he was always immersed in technology. From cassette players (remember those?) to computers to Blu-ray to iPhones, he was always interested in the latest and greatest technology trends. But as a New Media student, he found that students didn’t have the advantage of getting hands-on experience of the very same technology they are supposed to be using. As a former student, Justin knows how hard it is to purchase anything, much less a new computer, on a student budget. He always knew he wanted to give back to the school that gave him so much. So, with your help and the Bannister Foundation, we can give students the opportunity to gain that hands-on experience with their very own computer.
