Our aim is to lend a hand to the families with children admitted to critical care units, as well as supply caregivers and healthcare workers with necessary resources to provide the highest quality of care. After trying for years to start a family, founders Tim and Stephanie Lamb were blessed with a baby boy, Jude August Lamb. Their immediate joy would eventually turn to heartache, when Jude was born with severe physical challenges that ultimately proved too much for him to overcome. Following Jude’s passing, they took some time to reflect on the experience. While still grieving the loss of their son, they couldn’t help but think of the other families in the NICU with them, knowing they wouldn't be the first or the last parents to handle such struggles. Tim and Stephanie began identifying ways to help other families through their own critical care journeys, establishing the Jude August Foundation as a way to give back, while also honoring and remembering their sweet Jude August Lamb.
