Pan Idræt is a sports club in Copenhagen (DK), with more than 1500 members and more than 25 different sports and activities. Pan Idræt was founded in 1984 by a group of gays who were excluded from the public swimming pools because of the AIDS scare. Today Pan Idræt works to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Pan Idræt offers an alternative, healthy way to meet other people in an environment where the majority find their social life in the nightlife. Everyone is welcome, as diversity is absolutely essential to Pan Idræt.
