The Department of Communication at Saint Louis University integrates the study of human communication, media and strategic communication in innovative ways to prepare students for careers in journalism and media; integrated strategic communication; and corporate, government and nonprofit settings. Messages matter, and an education in communication at SLU teaches students to design, deliver and analyze messages so students can influence, connect and inform. Students develop skills to be culturally competent and ethically responsible communicators in their fields. At SLU, communication students learn to create, engage and think critically.
