A just society needs just organisations. Power & Integrity emerges to enable holistic, effective, and evolving integrity practice. Through co-creation and shared learning, P&I will cultivate dynamic integrity practice that evolves with emerging needs, changing conditions and new knowledge. We will work with leaders and boards of organisations and the wider non-profit sector to explore the central role that power plays and develop holistic and strategic responses for integrity. Our offer will be open source, supporting non-profits to challenge themselves, share learning, develop thinking, and provide a safe space to discuss findings and identify solutions. Why Power & Integrity? Throughout history, power imbalances have shaped, and reinforced, beliefs and behaviours, which benefit a few at the expense of many. With more and more people calling for an end to human rights violations, environmental destruction and other forms of exploitation and abuse, we’re approaching a critical juncture. Society must do better. Organisations, a cornerstone of society, are increasingly trying to respond but many struggle to navigate a complex web of sensitive integrity issues. Practices in key areas, like safeguarding, diversity, anti-corruption, and sustainability, often evolve in different teams and tend to remain separated, even up to board level. With this piecemeal approach, many organisations fail to see where they cause harm and how they could improve. Power & Integrity (P&I) believes that a more integrated, effective, and impactful approach can be achieved. By understanding underlying power dynamics, organisations can create a solid foundation from which they can transform their integrity practice.
