The FEI was one of the first colleges in the country to have a team of low to participate in national and international competitions held annually by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). The team has already won eight national and four world championships, becoming the South American team with more world titles. Currently it is composed of students of Mechanical Engineering, Production, Electrical and Automation and Control.
