After the establishment of University of Tehran in 1934, Faculty of Engineering (one of the six faculties of the University) was founded with relentless efforts of Professor Mahmoud Hesaby. Each year, roughly 4000 Undergraduates students, 2500 Master students, and 900 Doctoral students enroll in 215 field of study at this College. College of Engineering Has more than 390 faculty members and 45000 alumnus.
