Guardian Payment Systems is a credit card processing company. We were founded by small business owners, not bankers or corporate executives. The only reason we exist is because we are business owners who experienced for ourselves everything that is wrong with this industry. Over the course of 20 years in business, we changed processors more than 10 times. In all that time and with all those processors, we could not find a company who would conduct themselves in a manner that was consistent with our small-business values. We could never get transparency, consistency, or a sense of urgency. All we received were gimmicks, games, intentional confusion and excuses. We finally got tired of accepting the status quo and decided to do something about it. Our goal is to contribute as much as we can to fixing what is, in our opinion, a broken industry.
