Since 1975, Premchand Gokaldas and associated companies have been providing end-to-end and customised logistics, warehousing and co-packing solutions to 50+ clients. The firm is the brain-child of Mr Avnidher Shah, the founder of PG, who has vast experience in FMCG storage and distribution. Mr N K Swamy, with his extensive sales and management experience, joined hands in 1983. Mr Anand Shah, a post-graduate in logistics, with experience in sales, joined PG in 1994. Mr Kushal Bhardwaj, a trained engineer and a post-graduate in Business Administration, with research and analytical experience, joined PG in 2010. Currently, we have 8 lakh square feet of warehouses, catering to clients from the FMCG, automotive, confectionery, white goods, foods, lubricants and education industries. These warehouses are located at Narol, Aslali, Jetalpur (Ahmedabad area), Kanera, Goblej, Vadala (Kheda area), Sanand, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot. We employ 450+ direct and 500+ indirect staff, with 26 managers; the average retention period is 12 years. We have a full-fledged QMS and EHS team, who are responsible for formulating, training, implementation, adherence and internal auditing of SOPs and QMS and EHS procedures across our sites. We have also started distribution services for clients from the pharmaceutical industry, catering to Ahmedabad, north and south Gujarat.
