The idea of setting up the Ispat Cooperative Hospital in a rural area was first conceptualized in 2006 as a social welfare activity of the Society and the same was included in Society’s vision document titled ‘Vision 2012’ which was adopted in its 39th Annual General Meeting. The hospital shall be a secondary care level Multispecialty Hospital to provide medical care of the highest quality to all segments of the rural and semi urban population mainly to the downtrodden at an affordable cost. In the first phase of the project, a 51,000 sq.ft Hospital Building has been constructed to accommodate 100 beds for In patients & Outpatient Departments, Diognostic Clinic and Pharmacy, Day Care, Emergency & Dialysis Unit. The In-Patient Department has been started with 30 beds from 15th April, 2015
