Cornerstone’s Young Professionals Advisory Board members contribute to the success of Cornerstone Housing for Women through volunteering, advocacy, and fundraising efforts. Becoming a member of the Young Professionals Advisory Board provides a unique opportunity to experience how a non-profit organization functions, while deepening your understanding of the role of non-profit board member, learning the value of fundraising, and being a part of the Cornerstone volunteer community alongside like-minded young professionals. Board members come from a range of industries and backgrounds but are driven by their common goal of bettering their community and educating others about women experiencing homelessness in Ottawa.
