YFU Austria (Youth for Understanding Austria) is a non-profit organization and part of an international educational network with partners in more than 60 different countries. It is active in the field of cross-cultural education and promotes understanding through long-term student exchange programs as well as host family programs. YFU Austria also offers an educational program called "Coloured Glasses". The program focuses on intercultural understanding, cultural identity, stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination, as well as human rights. The topics are taught in free workshops for teenagers and young adults. From 2018-2019 the program is part of the EU project ACLEV ("Active Citizens Living European Values"), from 2017-2018 it has been part of another EU Project called "CGrow: Expanding intercultural Education Project".
