Virginia Peninsula Community College has been changing lives and transforming communities since its founding in 1967. Formerly known as Thomas Nelson Community College, the institution continues to serve the residents of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and the counties of James City and York. Virginia Peninsula is an accredited, two-year institution of higher education with multiple campus locations including Hampton, Williamsburg, and the Southeast Higher Education Center in Newport News.
