Wudzy Inc. is an exciting new philanthropically-minded tech start up committed to making a real and tangible difference in the lives of cancer patients. We aim to educate and support patients and help return them to optimal health so that they may lead, long, happy, healthy and fulfilled lives. Long term, we will help build Holistic Cancer Treatment Centres that bring together under the one roof the best of traditional medicine and alternative, safe, evidence-based holistic treatments that have proven to help fight cancer. Each year in Australia $1.2 billion dollars is raised for cancer research, which is critical and important work if we are ever to find a cure. But precious little is raised for patients that have cancer and need help now. Wudzy Inc. aims to redress that balance and raise money for those that need it most. Through the Wudzy App and the Wudzy AFL Basketball Game we raise funds that help those that need assistance to pay for their treatment and medical expenses, as well as help to pay for the ongoing living expenses that continue to mount up when a patient or their carer is unable to work and pay the bills. It is a devastating time when a patient is diagnosed with cancer, the physical, emotional, mental and financial toll can often be too much for the patient and their loved ones to bear. The Wudzy Inc. team aims to try and relieve some of the financial stress for these families at a horrible time when they have so many more important things to focus on. At Wudzy we are looking to recruit passionate, like-minded people who are committed to making a difference in the world and want to be part of something amazing - helping those cancer patients most in need. With almost 20 million people being diagnosed with cancer each year - 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime - never has the need been greater.
