In 1986, three engineers left a large engineering firm to establish Applied Technologies, Inc. (ATI). The three desired to create an environment that fostered relationships and allowed them to expand their expertise in water and waste management, renewable energy, and structural engineering. By 1992, ATI had outgrown its small original space and moved into its current location in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Soon thereafter, the firm’s Lake Villa office opened. ATI has since grown and solidified its reputation as a state-of-the-art consulting firm. The professionals at ATI possess specialized technical qualifications and experience in fields such as nutrient harvesting, reverse osmosis, anaerobic systems, green energy, biosolids handling, and recreational and themed exhibits.
