Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF) is a community-based organisation operating in Kakheti Region, Georgia, South Caucasus. Its primary objectives are: fostering economic development of the region (with particular focus on the Pankisi Gorge area); uplifting the refugees from Chechenya; and promoting social integration of the various ethnic groups inhabiting the area. Since its creation in November 2008, KRDF has been supported by the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the European Commission, and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Georgia.
