"It takes a village to raise a child" is a phrase that holds great meaning for members of UPP. Many of our members grew up in literal villages. All of our members have benefited from figurative villages: networks of family, friends, and community that have helped us get to where we are today. In that spirit, the purpose of UPP is to strengthen the village. We do this through mentor groups, mentor services, and a willing and helpful professional village. We welcome all people who can benefit from our village.
