As a mom of two girls, one night in 2019 I found myself pulling an ill-fitting gown over my daughter's head and wondering why I couldn't find more artful prints and better quality fabrics in children's sleep and loungewear. I went downstairs that night, climbed into bed with my laptop and started exploring what it might look like to solve that problem. La Paloma launched 11 months later. Born of the belief that childhood is magic, natural fibers are better and art will save the world, La Paloma is a line of artful pieces for women and kids for sleep, lounge and play. Our assortment includes simple 100% cotton house dresses for day, ribbed knit cotton sets with 90's style tank tops and cropped wide leg pants for play, and classic tight-fitting long john style pajama sets in our inimitable artist-created prints for lounge and sleep. Our pieces are meant for dreaming and playing, traveling and exploring. For us, embracing the magic of childhood means providing kids with pieces that allow them to feel their best– simple, artful, natural fiber pieces that allow them to relax, recharge and feel like a kid. In an effort to make childhood magical for more kids, we donate a portion of sales to Friends of the Children, an organization that aims to break the cycle of generational poverty for the most at-risk children.
