Mad Eye Media is owned and operated by Lighting Cameraman Ashley Meneely. Ashley is a freelance lighting cameraman with over 20 years experience in the Broadcast film industry. He started his career in factual programming in the mid 90’s and in 1998 moved to London to work for the Factual department at Tiger Aspect Productions. After a couple years working for an equipment hire facility he went freelance gaining invaluable experience working on some fantastic documentaries across the world. He has worked on a mixture of 16mm film, tape and now solid state acquisition, from Entertainment to Drama doc and Factual / documentary programmes and in environments from the jungles in Borneo and Madagascar to the deserts of the Kalahari in South Africa and Kuwait. Ashley has Camera supervised a number of multi camera productions and alongside his usual broadcasting commitments has recently worked on a number of 360 / VR projects.
