Islamia English School, Abu Dhabi, LLC, established in 1978, is a private, non-profit educational institution. It is managed by a Board of Directors and recognized by the Ministry of Education & Youth, U.A.E under License No. 64/1. It is also recognized by the Edexcel (International Exam Board) for conducting IGCSE ‘O’ Level and GCE ‘A’ Level Courses. The School is indebted to (Late) His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan - President of the U.A.E. for the grant of the land, on which the present school building stands since 1984.
