Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organization that supports community-driven development programs worldwide through the design and implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while creating multidisciplinary and leadership experiences for students. Formed in 2005, our chapter at Cal Poly has grown into one of the largest student chapters in the country, with four international project teams and one local project team working to address issues such as water, education, food security, and energy. EWB-Cal Poly has a history of excellence, receiving the title of EWB-USA’s West Coast Regional Premier Student Chapter for six consecutive years.
