Spotted by Locals is a publisher of travel blogs and apps (iPhone / Android) with up-to-date tips by handpicked local writers in 80+ great cities around the world. We believe a misunderstanding of other cultures is the root of many of the world’s problems. We aim to help change this, by allowing travelers to see a destination from a local’s perspective. Spotted by Locals (founded in 2008) is a publisher of city guides for 71 cities. Each city blog and 100% offline app is created by real locals. Our Spotters live in the city they write about, speak the local language, write only about their favorite spots and keep their tips up-to-date. Our vision We strongly believe many of the world’s problems are caused by people from different cultures not understanding each other. We aim to increase intercultural understanding, by allowing travelers to see a destination from a local’s perspective.
