KRKA Ultra Challenge by Run Raisers – Run 4 Diabetes! We have subsidized entry fees for Croatian residents (see Terms of Registration). 20% of entry fee will go directly to support Diabetes. the CHALLENGE The race is created to appeal to a wide audience – from the most experienced runners to the joyful runners – the objective is that you will be up for a challenge regardless which distance you choose. the PURPOSE KRKA Ultra Challenge is organized by Run Raisers (from Sweden), which is a search engine for running races, soon to be launched. KRKA Ultra Challenge is the only own event by Run Raisers. Everything associated with KRKA Ultra Challenge will contribute to Diabetes Charity (20% of entry fee, sponsors, accommodation, activities etc.). The objective is to raise > 100.000 SEK (€ 10.000) this the first year of our event (2018). The raised funds will support both Barndiabetesfonden (The Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation), as well as our own initiative - a sports camp for families with children with type 1 diabetes. the WHERE Krka National Park lies within Šibenik-Knin County. The most frequently visited areas in of the park are Skradinski buk and Roški slap, the first being one of Croatia’s best known natural features, made up of travertine cascades, islands and lakes. The closest city is Skradin, along the coast between Split & Zadar in Croatia. the WHY Charity & running is a well-known perfect match – KRKA Ultra Challenge will use the human goodwill to raise money for Diabetes & also raise awareness of this dangerous disease growing exponentially across the globe, by engaging & activating people thru running!
