Our firm was founded in 1992 by Carlos Nevett and Pedro Mezquita once they had completed graduate studies at Harvard University. Jose Rafael Bermudez, former professor of taxation, joined our firm as senior partner in 2006, bringing a wealth of experience from a leading law firm with an international practice. Other lawyers that began with us as associates became partners: Alejandra Cervino in 2008, Alejandro Sosa, Katherine De Bastos and Oscar H. Velutini in 2015, and Claudia Madrid Martinez in 2016. Manuel Lopez Fonseca, partner of our firm since 1998, continues with us as of counsel while practicing law at New York-based Lopez & Wardle LLP.
