Thunder Today - Based in Long Beach, California, Thunder Studios is a vertically integrated, full-service broadcast production studio. Thunder works with the world’s best talent in all content formats. Our 150,000 square foot Media Campus houses 12 stages, including an XR (Extended Reality) stage, motion and volumetric capture stage, an esports arena, 2 streaming stages, a live news broadcast stage and integrated control room, production offices, and edit bays. Thunder’s fleet of mobile broadcasting trucks captures, produces, and distributes live events throughout the USA and Mexico including baseball, soccer, MMA, esports, concerts, parades, awards shows, corporate events, and much more. Leveraging our core competency in live production workflow, our deep understanding and engagement with youth culture, and our passion for technology, Thunder has developed proprietary technology in live event virtualization and remote collaboration tools. These technologies, Infinite Reality (iR) and Remote Broadcast Studio (RBS), are emerging growth verticals that will be truly Thunder’s assets include significant lighting inventory; cameras and production equipment; a Virtual Reality stage with 3D compositing and 200+ digitally rendered sets; post-production facilities and a recording studio; proprietary digital toolsets; and an audience development team. We provide our partners the infrastructure and resources to improve production quality, collaborate with members of the creator community and expertly monetize and distribute content across media platforms. Thunder has also executed innovative digital-first business models including branded content, influencer marketing and platform-specific formats. Thunder is passionate about the future of content, and has positioned its core studio business to benefit from the increasingly fragmented content distribution landscape. In 2016, we launched our independent film division and YouTube certified Multichannel Network (MCN).
