IAVANTE is an area for Professional Competency Acquisition and Evaluation at the Fundación Progreso y Salud (Progress and Health Foundation), belonging to the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Equality, Health and Social Policies. Its mission is Knowledge Management in healthcare in the broadest sense of the term. IAVANTE provides highly specialized medical training to around fifteen thousand professionals each year. IAVANTE also develops innovative ICT-based projects for the Andalusian Public Health System. IAVANTE aims to facilitate and promote the comprehensive training and development of healthcare professionals through the most innovative simulation and learning methodologies and promote research and innovation in new information and communication technologies.
