SMIT (Moroccan Agency for Tourism Development) is the Government company in charge of tourism development in Morocco. Since its inception in 2007, SMIT is actively working to carry out the assignments of the Moroccan tourism strategy through the conception of tourism projects, The identification and mobilization of potential lands for development, market research and feasibility study, investment opportunities promotion and enhancement of private initiative and public-private partnership are at the core of its assignments.
