1500+ children from among 30+ orphanages have joined Kidspire programs in Vietnam. This project started with the objective to offer high quality digital literacy and STEM programming to children living in Vietnamese orphanages - programs that these children did not have opportunities to otherwise access. Over the years, we've added additional programs to help students stay in school, finish high school, apply to University, and explore internships with employers offering opportunities for ongoing personal and professional growth and development. At our core, we maintain 2 core beliefs: 1) STEM education, when done well, with a student-centered approach, engages students and helps them to develop important interdisciplinary skills while also developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity - all important skills that also help develop confidence in our students. 2) All children deserve opportunities to access high quality STEM education programs and have the chance to equip themselves with skills that can open doors to meaningful professional careers. We are both proud of the work we've accomplished and committed to getting better and doing more to support our incredible students.
