UnEarth is a less than year old startup working towards both keeping furniture out of landfills as well as giving our fellow under-privileged Malaysians a chance at a better life. Our strategy to achieve this is to build a true circular economy for 2nd-hand furniture in the SEA region. We offer a white-glove service whereby we handle everything from pickup, repairs, sales & marketing, and delivery. We also give back up to 50% of the revenue of each sale to the original supplier, which has exceeded RM350,000 in payouts. So far we've kept 10,000 pieces of furniture out of the landfill, which we estimate to be more than 150,000kg saved from the trash. Our team is made up of a back-office support staff and field & warehousing teams. The back-office staff builds tech solutions to make the lives of the field teams easier, while our field teams are the real heroes labouring to extract furniture from difficult to access homes.
