MISSION A Fool for Learning, LLC is dedicated to partnering with organizations, no matter their size, to maximize their business goals/objectives through appropriate learning solutions, which are strategic, measurable and effective. For us, the key is to identify the issue(s) faced by your organization and create appropriate learning solutions, so that you may meet your goals, as effectively and efficiently as possible. VISION A Fool for Learning, LLC, wants to be recognized as a trustworthy, helpful, courteous and loyal partner to our client organizations, ensuring that we have done our best, to allow them to successfully meet their goals and objectives. WHY? A number of years ago, at my previous organization, I wanted to begin a blog on learning/training, covering the latest developments, tips/tricks, etc. The target audience would not only be for those active in training/learning full-time, but more importantly, those who have been assigned to conduct learning on a part-time basis. Calling it “Joe’s Training Blog” or “The Learning Blog” was simply boring. I wanted something that would grab a person’s attention. In literature, the fool can be seen as providing insight and honesty, while speaking his mind, even when it is against conventional wisdom. In music, the fool falls in love with someone. Think of the Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers song: Why do fools fall in love? In my case, I love learning/training and sharing my knowledge with others, especially the new practitioner. When you combine these various themes - honesty, insight, speaking your mind, and love of something – it just seemed a natural fit for my blog name, and now company.
