Pure Boats is a progressive and sustainable boutique tour company and platform for boating activities in Amsterdam. By providing a unique and personalised experience, both locals and visitors can get acquainted in various ways with the stunning heritage of the Amsterdam canals and surrounding areas. Our Boats Pure Boats is the proud owner of four classic boats, which are all modernised with zero emission electric motors. The boats are all different in design, each boasting their own unique character, with elegant lines and subtly finished to complement the stunning historical setting in which they operate. Pure Boats team Pure Boats comprises a team of three young professionals with a passion for creating a sustainable future in the marine leisure sector. With an extensive background in boat design, technology, marketing and culture, we have joined forces to utilise our knowledge and experience to set up and make a success of Pure Boats. Sustainable Approach Pure Boats aspires to be a zero waste company. In addition to our emission free electric engines, it is our vision for the company to create as little waste as possible. The food served is locally sourced and also the drinks are largely brewed and produced locally. We collaborate with local Amsterdam businesses that share this vision. For example, the crew clothing is made from a local and sustainable source – hemp fibres, supplied by one of our partners. In order to further reduce our carbon footprint, future investments will include renewable energy systems, and we aim to eventually operate off the grid.
