K & K Die, Inc. produces metal stampings and assemblies with design, prototype, and tooling capabilities. Our 83,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility comprised of two buildings side by side, located in Sterling Heights, MI is a modern, well-equipped company providing high quality stampings, assemblies to the transportation and automotive industry. K & K Die began as a tier III supplier 1974 as a four-man operation, producing dies, tools, and some stampings in St. Clair Michigan. The company has grown to 65 employees. K & K possesses the latest capability in stamping, welding and machining along with: • A modern, computerized tool and die design group able to download customer’s design/drawing requirements in customer specific formats using modern CAD/CAM technology. • A manufacturing facility capable of taking a customer’s part or assembly design requirements from prototype to production part with full time trained team members. • CNC Programming and Machining capability using modern CAD/CAM applications and high precision CNC Machines. • Production facility capable of running progressive & line die tools in stamping presses ranging from 10 ton to 800 ton with bed sizes up to 60 x 144 in. • State-of-the-art robotic mig and projection welding cells. • A well equipped and maintained metrology lab equipped with hand held gages and a Zeiss CMM, for high precision data collection and its statistical analysis for supporting customer requirements. • A qualified and customer focused Quality department promoting economical manufacturing of high quality metal stampings and assemblies, high customer satisfaction, Prevention, Continuous Improvement, Defect, Waste, and Scrap Reduction. • Sales & Engineering department focused on customer needs & expectations.
