Established in 1974, Rescue Village is a regional humane society that features a state-of-the-art unlimited stay facility where all healthy, medically treatable, and friendly animals, from cats and dogs to horses and alpaca, go up for adoption. While at Rescue Village animals receive the very best care from professional medical and shelter staff, and animals are never euthanized for time or space. Rescue Village is a leader in the field of animal welfare, serving the people and animals of Northeast Ohio, and is a private 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, supported solely by private donations and grants. Rescue Village is also known as Geauga County Humane Society.
