4 Justice is Emory University's Justice Reform Organization that strives to improve the justice system in 4 steps: (1) Inform the public of injustices, such as racial discrimination, that are present in the justice system by writing, speaking, and hosting events on these issues. (2) Work to improve conditions for children, families, and individuals who are negatively impacted by the criminal legal system (3) Fight for clemency or pardon for individuals serving unusually long sentences (4) Collaborate with leaders such as politicians, business-people, and lawyers, as well as national, local, and university organizations to implement strategies to reform US incarceration processes
