Established by Andrew Shields in 2015, Andrew has had more than 20 years working in these fields, with many successful results for construction and building companies, developers, sub-contractors, homeowners and small to medium sized businesses. Not only has Andrew worked in specialised construction and building law firms and as in-house counsel for a civil and electrical construction company, he is an Adjudicator registered with the QBCC and in the Northern Territory and has made numerous decisions under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payments) Act 2017 (“BIFA”). In addition to building and construction law, Andrew has extensive experience in all areas of law that impact the timeshare industry and other related industries inclusive of the hospitality and marketing. Andrew has worked on registered managed investment schemes, advising on Australian Financial Services licensing and and ensuring clients are in compliance with the Australian Credit Licence requirements.
