William Travis Jewelry was founded in 2002 by William Travis Kukovich. Travis began metalsmithing at age 12 and is now the fifth generation to carry on the trade. You could say making badass jewelry is in his blood. His influences are widespread (from ancient Egypt to beetles in his backyard) and his work is oftentimes incomparable. His eye for design has had a major impact on the jewelry industry over the course of his career. Some of his most notable achievements include 8 AGTA Spectrum Awards, 3 Jewelers of America Design Awards, 2 Platinum Guild Internationals, 3 JCK Design Awards and 3 JCK Jewelers Choice Awards. His work continues to be featured in art magazine and trade publications and his retail store in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is ranked in JCK Top 50 Designer Stores.
