After Spielberg’s Hook in ‘91, I realized I preferred make-believe to real-life, I was two. You could say I’m knee deep in a career chosen by a starry-eyed two year old, and be that wise, idiotic, cosmic, or premature…I love making movies. As one does, I’ve grown from Hook. My personal growth and career now fuel my screen narratives to be rooted, trying, intimate re-tellings of extraordinary sensations, and depictions of exceptional human beings. I was born in Toledo, OH, educated in Athens, OH, and enjoyed a lengthy hiatus in Denver, CO full of incredible climbing, local beers, a killer music scene, and the occasional documentary shoot with the Emmy winning post-production team at Milkhaus. I received my Masters in Cinema Direction, and Post-Graduate in Cinematography from ESCAC in Barcelona.
