One Complete Business (1CB)
www.onecbusiness.comEvery business has a story. Ours starts in 2017 when we founded 1CB. This year we’re focusing on building strategic competencies for businesses starting with WHITEBOARDING! Why? Because effective whiteboarding – whether on a traditional dry erase board, a computer screen, or on a piece of paper – is one of the best tools for fostering innovation and collaboration. If that seems like a lofty claim, ask yourself this: how many meetings have you left where no one had a clue what was going on? Or where the loudest person in the room dominated the discussion to the detriment of the team? We’ve spent years developing tools and techniques internally and with our clients to go deeper, be more inclusive, and drive better discovery, ideation, and strategic decision-making using whiteboarding. And what we’ve found is that while there are a ton of tools and consultants out there who can help you better understand who you and the people around you are – think Myers Briggs, DISC, etc. – no one is teaching the nuts and bolts of how to turn what is in your head into something tangible that leads to results. One of our goals in starting 1CB was to help businesses understand how their different functions were interconnected. Our diverse backgrounds gave us a unique perspective and let us offer a myriad of holistically focused solutions. However, what we could offer as consultants to help break down silos was limited to the projects and hours we spent interacting with clients. To change how businesses saw themselves – and how employees saw themselves within a business – would require something else, something new. Whiteboarding! That thing we did with all our clients to break down the barriers between their different functions was something we could teach to other businesses. Like all things 1CB, we do it in our own unique way, creating a multidisciplinary approach fusing kinesiology, design thinking, and information science with thousands of hours of whiteboarding.
