Uniti is a for-profit social impact venture that puts essential services in the hands of people who are not yet digitally connected. High tech and high touch approaches are both essential to our model, and we earn revenue from service providers in return for extending their reach and from a range of partners who value the impact date we generate. Our early user research in Ghana shows that improved literacy, children's education, savings tools, employment, business capital, and personal health are the services people in our target population most need - they are normally high-effort to access and have an outsized impact on users’ quality of life when they’re available. We deliver curated existing services on Android 10+ smartphones, and verify and onboard users to all services once with the help of last mile partners they trust. Engagement is supported by learning content and two-way messaging, supporting users beyond in-person onboarding throughout their Uniti journey.
