inagros P.C.
www.inagros.comInagros is aiming is to make any farmer familiar with precision agriculture. We all know that in conventional farming serious damages even around 30% usually occur, which in addition with 80% more water, pesticides, fertilizers are necessary enlarge the costs. All these problems can be controlled with the adoption of tech apps like sensors, GPS, geo information systems etc., which in essence constitutes the precision agriculture. Nevertheless, despite technology has already been available, only 28% of the farmers in the EU use it because, it is not designed according to the needs and skills of the average farmer. Almost 60% of farmers are more than 55 years old, absolutely busy and without any background to process the huge amount of available information. So we need to propose the following system: - A combination of weather and soil humidity sensors and that are placed in crops - An electronic platform , where not only the sensors’ data but also the satellite data in addition with the ground analysis’ results, which all will be analysed by an agronomist and together with the farmer will set the parameters in order to automate the watering and to get any SMS notifications in case of risk for any disease or damage. - Eventually, the farmer will be able to distant-use and control his watering through telephone calls. Our team consists of 8 people, not only engineers but also agronomists and designer that will make the best possible results.
