The Wave-Actuated Tethered Emergency Response Buoyant Reverse Osmosis System (WATER BROS) concept proposes an innovative wave energy powered desalination unit for accessible potable water in rural coastal communities and disaster relief zones. The following sections illustrate the concept’s conceptual design, provides the technical background of the energy harvesting, desalination, manufacturing, and deployment practices required for success, and introduces the capabilities and experience of the dedicated team members aligned with the proposed concept.
