Yuva Vikas is a not-for-profit organization working towards empowering, informing and involving the youth in order to provide them with an opportunity to lead the change process around them. The vision is to create an environment for young people to be valued and engaged in bringing about a positive social change. It has been identified as one of the emerging youth organisation working on creative volunteering and issue-based work. Areas of Work – Community Based Water and Sanitation Program named “Gram Nirman”, Education, Youth Entrepreneurship, and Volunteering for Change, Civic Education, Youth Employability, Education, Health and Ecotourism. Past Initiatives Yuva Vikas has been working since 2008 in collaboration with various philanthropists has indulged in starting various initiatives like; Pratichhabi – A children’s festival for rural school Children. Campus Pulse program – a youth sensitization drive on governance issues for college students. Community School Initiative – Providing quality education at an affordable price for students coming from rural areas. Youth for Education for All – An advocacy initiative by young people in the field of educational reforms. Dhool Ke Phool – It is meant for giving wings to the aspirations of young children living in urban poverty which became nationally famous as one of the most Creative Initiatives for Urban Space and replicated in other cities of India.
