The Castell programs amplify the AHLA Foundation’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion with a focus on advancing women in hospitality. Overview: The Foundation’s Castell supports the entry and advancement of and prospective diverse women at all levels in the industry: • Castell@College: Strengthening and supporting the hospitality student talent pipeline through mentorship, exposure to career paths, and engagement with female industry leaders. • Castell BUILD & ELEVATE: Priming women for advancement in hospitality through executive leadership development programs. • Elevating more women to the podium through AHLA’s ForWard: Advancing Women in Hospitality and other AHLA events, as well as expanding a speakers’ bureau of women hospitality leaders. • Conducting ongoing research related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), including women in hospitality leadership and diversity benchmarking.
